The Three Minute Thesis is a research communication competition designed to help students develop presentation skills by consolidating their research and presenting it succinctly to a non-specialist audience—all in just three minutes. 3MT began in 2008 at The University of Queensland, Australia and has since spread to 80 universities in a dozen countries. This year Portland State University will host our second competition.
The PSU competition will be held May 8, 2015 in LH 355. The 1st, 2nd, and People’s Choice winners will go on to compete in the State Championships on May 16 and will receive a cash award. The events are free and open to the public. Learn more at http://www.pdx.edu/ogs/3mt
