Art & activism grows new roots

Street Roots vendors stand inside a giant paper mache treelocated between SMSU and Neuberger Hall. The sculpture, which ismade out of old issues of Street Roots, was made by a PSU creativesculpture class in order to draw attention to the newspaper, whichpromotes awareness of issues faced by Portland’shomeless.
