The right rear driver’s window and the trunk lid were damaged on a Toyota Celica parked in the lower level of the West Hall parking lot about 2 a.m. April 5. Nothing was missing.
On April 14, about 1 a.m., someone broke the driver’s side rear window of a 2001 Ford Focus parked in the same lot. There was nothing taken.
An aggressive panhandler failed to get a donation from a circulation desk clerk at Millar Library in the early morning of April 16, but it did earn him a citation.
Logan Robinson, 23, a transient, was reported inside the library using profanity and threatening people with kicking them if they didn’t contribute.
He was cited for harassment and released with no physical damage to anyone.
An unattended desk in Science Building Two yielded a purse to a thief about 3:30 p.m. April 17. The loss was $620.
An unknown male was seen reading a book in the area before the theft. A book was found on the desk from which the purse was taken.
The owner of a CD player lost it to a thief when a vehicle was broken into while parked in Parking Structure Three about 10 p.m. April 6. CPSO recovered the player two days later. It had been valued at $75.
:A female tenant at the Ondine called CPSO from her room at 3 a.m. April 19. She complained a man she did not know tried to prevent her from entering her apartment.
Officers encountered two men, both apparently intoxicated, in the area. Based on the woman’s description, they cited and released Venkateswara M. Anwambhotla, 23, on a charge of harassment.
