Drug Law Violation Referral

Residence staff reported and referred two students under the legal age in possession of marijuana around 8 a.m. in Ondine Residence Hall.

Liquor Law Violation Referral

The residence staff reported and referred three students to CPSO at approximately 12:41 a.m. who were under the legal age and in possession of alcohol around 11 p.m. in Broadway Residence Hall.

Outside of the Plaid Pantry on SW Mill, CPSO took a call from a student who said that a male had approached him at around 9 a.m. and had threatened to hit him. After threatening the student, the male threw a punch that grazed the student’s face. The male then threatened to hit the student again but walked away. No injury was sustained to the student.

Suspicious Activity

CPSO received a call at approximately 1 p.m. from a student reporting they found a nail in their vehicle’s tire on two different occasions. The vehicle is most of the time parked in the Ondine parking structure.

Telephonic Harassment

A student came to the CPSO office to report they have been receiving harassing text messages from a non-student.

Suspicious Activity

CPSO took a report at around 2:15 p.m. from a student that a male had been approaching female students on campus and asking them for their names in a loud voice. The person was last spotted on Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. in Lincoln Hall.

CPSO responded to a report at approximately 12:50 a.m. from a student who had chased a person out of the room in Blumel Hall and then called 911. The suspect—who was not found— is described as a white, middle-aged, 6’0” male with a black beanie, camouflage jacket, dark gray colored sweatpants and had a bad odor.

CPSO responded to a report at around 1:02 a.m. of two people breaking a glass window at the Art Building and then running from the location.
