Illuminate PSU is Portland State’s relationship and sexual violence prevention program. The group, a resource for interpersonal violence on campus, works with different student communities at PSU including incoming freshmen, student housing residents and student-athletes. Additionally, they provide bystander and consent training. They also have the ability to offer personalized training for different groups as needed.
Public and peer education is a key component to Illuminate’s mission, and they sponsor different panel discussions and plan events like Denim Day, scheduled for April 24 during Portland State’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
