It’s a new academic year at Portland State University and that means it’s time for Party in the Park, an event that began in 1990 and is hosted in the park blocks on campus. On Sept. 29, the first week of fall term, Party in the Park featured many student organizations and resource centers. The event provided entertainment and fun for students.
Along with the main event, Joe’s Burgers and Ruby Jewel catered lunch and dessert, respectively. Promoting student engagement on campus was one of the main goals of the event. Hundreds of students attended Party in the Park this year.
