Protest in the park

Gale A. Norton, Bush’s Secretary of the Interior, was on campus Friday for a conference. Members of the Cascadia Forest Alliance demonstrated in the South Park Blocks against logging, mining and oil drilling. They dressed themselves in Caribou costumes to raise awareness about the Woodland Caribou, one the most endangered mammals.
