Shahriyar Smith

1. I am a junior and my majors are political science and philosophy. When I graduate, I intend to pursue a masters degree somewhere here in the Northwest.

2. Interaction with a variety of people on campus, their varying ideas, and a significant amount of time spent in the study of politics and philosophy qualify me to effectively represent the student body. I will add political diversity, as well as honest and serious political debate to the senate.

3. The most important aspect is the ability to add a new dimension to political discourse in the senate. The impact a multitude of views will have on the senate’s decisions
