Viking athletes earn conference academic honors

The Big Sky Conference announced its all-academic honors athletes including 20 Portland State athletes from five spring sports.

To qualify for the Academic All-Big Sky Conference team, an athlete must maintain a 3.2 G.P.A. while competing in at least half of his or her sport’s events.

The Viking women’s track team and men’s tennis team each had five players honored, while men’s track and women’s tennis placed four members on the Academic All-Big Sky team. Women’s golf had two players earn Academic All-Big Sky honors.
