Kevin Mannix unrealistic

Kevin Mannix announced at the forum last Thursday that he will make the Willamette River swimmable by his first year and drinkable by his second year in office. That is amazingly unrealistic. These outlandish statements are especially interesting since he claimed a week earlier that the river would be swimmable in four years and drinkable in eight. I am offended and appalled that Mannix holds the student body at such a low standard that he thinks we can be fed these dramatic lies and find them reasonable. This just reinforces the idea that Mannix will tell you anything he can to get elected, no matter how ridiculous or illogical. If Mannix has no qualms about lying now, I would never trust him to run the entire state. Mannix officially lost my vote.
