Leadership class to hold show
Next Friday, March 15, professor Alex Acetta’s “Leadership for Change” Sophomore Inquiry class will hold an exhibition of its members’ work in the Multicultural Center of Smith. Each student in the class has completed an art piece around the theme of positive change in the community.
Co-facilitator and class member Niki Terzieff said that the exhibit will focus on “what we have learned about leadership… it’s neat.”
The works range from small pastels made by each student to video installations and CDs. The class, and the exhibit, have taken the PSU motto “Let Knowledge Serve the City” as its jumping-off point, mixing academic theory with real-world application through papers that examine, among other things, the goals of community service versus actual results.
